Information We Collect

OnAire collects the following information to provide our services:

• Account information: Email address, username, date of birth
• Content: Photos, videos, documents, and text you upload or share
• Location: GPS coordinates (with your permission) to provide local and regional feeds
• Camera & Microphone: Used only when you choose to capture photos or videos
• Device information: Push notification tokens for delivering notifications

How We Use Your Information

• Display your content in feeds based on location and preferences
• Send notifications about activity on your content
• Enable messaging between connected users
• Improve app performance and user experience

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on AWS infrastructure (S3, EC2) with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

Data Retention

• Posts expire after 24 hours or 7 days (depending on engagement)
• Messages are limited to 10 per conversation (oldest are automatically deleted)
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings

Third-Party Services

• Firebase: Push notifications and analytics
• AWS: Media storage and content delivery
• Giphy: GIF search and display

Your Rights

You can:

• Access and download your data
• Delete your account and all data permanently
• Block other users
• Report inappropriate content
